The Cristal brand was registered in 1939 and has been on the market for over 75 years.

It started in a glass bottle, the packaging available at that time, and later adopted the polyethylene cruet, which brought it great success. Later, in the 1990s, it switched to PET packaging developed especially for the brand, ensuring better conservation of the product.

In 1985, the Cristal Gourmet brand was created in order to cover other types of target segments, namely those who appreciate “old-fashioned” vinegar (with a distinct aroma and intense acidity). All over the years,the Cristal brand has been following the market dynamically, launching new flavors and aromas.

Lezíria

Lezíria

Ribatejo lezíria, with its rich colors and intense aromas, was the source of inspiration for the creation of the brand LEZIRIA, in 1959.

Lezíria vinegar has become a national reference and a symbol of Portugal in Portuguese communities in the four corners of the world, thus maintaining the connection to the roots of the land and the traditions that are so familiar to it.

Salador

Salador

The SALADOR brand was created in 1988 to respond to market changes and the growing demands of a new generation of consumers, concerned with their well-being and with combining a healthy lifestyle with balanced, nutritious and fresh meals, while maintaining the flavor and quality they were already used to.

Due to its resounding name and easily associated with salads, the SALADOR brand has been recognized over the last few years in the PALOP’s, already having a significant sales expression in these markets.

During World War II, in 1940, Mr. António Marques Agostinho imported equipment and technology to manufacture sparkling wines using the “innovative” technique known as the “Charmat Method”. This technique allows the production of sparkling wines of excellent quality in a faster and more economical way.

The new technology made it possible to serve consumers with individual doses, since there was no sparkling wine available in 200ml bottles at the time. The new sparkling wine product MAGOS was launched.

MAGOS has been a commercial success since its launch in Portugal and Brazil.

Forty-three years after the launch of MAGOS, the evolution of the market in the sparkling wine segment can be seen.
